Samsung S8 AFC charging time

Long time no Samsung. 🙂 Mostly because of the previous experience (read in Russian). But anyway did a test of Adaptive Fast Charging (AFC) from Samsung. Using Samsung S8 with AFC charger from the box.

What can I say?
I see some cheating with charging percentage displayed by the phone to get “Full Charge in 90 minutes” in reviews.

But the real numbers are more like 120 minutes.

Just to compare with a device that shows true percentage see image below

Vernee Mars

Vernee Mars. Yet another cheap (~170 $ on AliExpress) smartphone with iPhone 6 like design (and iPhone 5S like performance). Killer feature of this phone is OTA update to Android 7

Camera is far from perfect. As expected for this price.

Fingerprint sensor on a side. Work also not perfect.

Good original case (that is cost about 10-20$ on AliExpress) it detect close/open and switch to analog or digital clock mode

Meizu M3s

Meizu M3s is cheap and (relatively) low performance Android smartphone with expensive smartphones looks and features (like TouchID).

The phone looks more or less like iPhone 6(s).
Price is about 130$ for 16GB/2GB version in Ukraine.

iPhone 6(s) like design is in metal body (only central part, top and bottom are platic), one “home”button with fingerprint reader in it.

Similar to iPhone screws, speeker holes, usb port location. Sound quality is very average.

Not only M3s body is looks like iPhone but also FlymeOS trying to copy iOS way of lock screen, notifications, etc.
